Club Melee and Brunch held on the 15th June.

 

16 no players entered for this fun/social competition with the Brunch being supplied by the social club at 12.45 pm.

Our playing officers – The “icky’s”; organised us into doubles, which changed with each match, with a total of 3 timed games – starting at 10am prompt. Scores kept for each match so that the points difference for players were known.

We all enjoyed the weather – which was fabulous. The games were all played with a competitive edge (the recent training has made a difference) and in good humour, it seems everyone enjoyed the games and all had some success.

Noted that not one player managed to win all of their 3 games – therefore it was on a countback on the 2 wins and 1 draw that the result was concluded.

3rd – Vicky Howard with +5 points.

2nd - Andy Cotton with + 11 points.

1st - Peter Tombs with + 15 points.

We then retired to the Social Club for the Brunch – thanks to Erica and Phil, very good and enjoyed by all.
